The Milliken Promise Scholarship–named for CIS founder, Bill Milliken–targets schools served by Communities In Schools and is awarded to Pennsylvania students who apply through their CIS affiliate and enrolling full-time in a degree program at Harrisburg University. The Milliken Promise Scholarship will be awarded to 100 high school seniors graduating from CIS schools throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

Students do not need to be case managed in order to be eligible for this opportunity. Interested students should fill out the hard copy application that is specifically designated for this opportunity. The University operates on rolling admissions and will accept applications up to the deadline. Applicants must apply for all Federal and State Grants before their respective deadlines.  Financial aid filing deadline is May 1 and students should complete the FASFA as early as possible. (Scholarship is full tuition less all Federal and State Grants and first $3,500 in Federal loans.) Interviews may be required. To qualify, interested students must apply before the May prior to the upcoming Fall semester. International students are not eligible for this scholarship.
